Textile Materials Digital Workbook | Fashion & Textile Materials

RATIONALE: This digital workbook explores innovative textile techniques, including needle felting, vegan leather alternatives, thermoplastic pleating, 3D Shibori, and surface embellishment. It also documents material experimentation through colouration, abrasive finishing, natural dyes, seashell embroidery with sequins, and crayon & Copic marker rendering. Additionally, the project includes a fibre identification test, covering visual inspection, structural analysis, handle testing, and material property assessments, culminating in a detailed specification sheet.
